C.A.R.B. compliance is also something that is 
shaping the flooring industry. You have heard Low VOC’s touted on many things. But what does that really mean? Low VOC (Volitile Organic Compound) really means the lowest amount of Formaldehyde that can be used in a flooring product. Specifically the amount of off-gassing a product will produce when installed in a home. This usually pertains to hardwood floors and finishes, but definitely includes all other flooring materials.
